Due to the ongoing uncertainty of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our area Monroe Lacrosse has decided to suspend all lacrosse related activities (practices, scrimmages, & games) for both boys’ and girls’ programs until at least next Sunday, March 29. As always, the health and safety of our players, coaches, and families is of the utmost importance.
We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and more information becomes available. Hopefully the situation improves quickly and we can resume our season. We are currently issuing refunds of work bond and fundraising fees. Please watch for future updates on this evolving situation.
Please encourage your children to use this extra free time to work on their individual stick skills. Play catch with a sibling or parent. Play “wall ball” or throw against a rebounder. Work on cradling and dodges. Pick up ground balls. There are 100s of drills that can be done individually that will help your children come back to practice stronger than they left.
